Dan Sindhikara’s Information

I got my PhD in Physics at University of Florida. Now I’m postdoc’ing in Japan. E-mail me for an up-to-date CV.

My research involves mostly creating analytical tools for computational study of biological molecules. I make use of statistical mechanical techniques such as liquid state theory (e.g. 3D-RISM) and generalized ensemble theory (e.g. REMD) to ascertain biologically relevant information with both accuracy and efficiency.

I’ve programmed in many languages, but I’m currently hooked on python.

I am pretty good at reading Japanese and often tolerable at spoken Japanese.
